• Review of "Wells Fargo Bank" at Madison

  Went there to close an account but at the advice of the banker decided to just take most of my money out and leave some in there just in case my USAA card doesn't work. I asked multiple times if I would accidentally incur any fees. I asked if there would be any banking fees since I don't use them as my primary bank anymore. I was told I would be fine. Next month rolls around and I see a 12$ fee, I called to see if I can get the money back since they told me this wouldn't happen. I was told by the manager that "We can't refund the money". All the manager could do was change my account so it wouldn't happen again. ( Something I could have done a month earlier). I decided to completely stop using wells fargo after this. The bank is an hour away from me and I was lucky to finally be able to close the account over the phone. No way was I going to waste more gas and time to just close an account. *Edited for spelling and grammatical errors. Also it's been two years since I put this review up and I still hate this bank.

• Review of "Hardee Law Firm" at Madison

  In my opinion, and as an attorney with 35 years of experience (including 130+ jury trials), I believe that this firm is a 5th rate, wallmart, or fleamarket level, white trash law firm "joke." Although the law firm was paid in full for services rendered, the material copies of relevant parts of the file/documents were not delivered to myself, nor my wife, which was the purpose of retaining this firm, in the first place. As I recall, several months after this law firm's manager/legal secretary confirmed that the file/documents were "literally in the mail," they were never delivered. Thus, my wife, who is an executive at a prestigious Seattle corporation, initiated an inquiry as to the status of the file/documents. When she requested an update, her telephone call was routed to an attorney who was never involved in the case. However, the attorney is the grandson and son of the senior partners. Nevertheless, according to my wife, this arrogant and petulant child-attorney, who was representing this law firm, resorted to yelling, screaming, insulting, threatening, cursing, and behaved completely bizarre and inappropriate. This attorney's behavior reminded me of the strung out heroine addicts that I had to contend with when I worked in night clubs while in college and law school. My wife's only offense was following-up on her previous requests (after the law firm's repeated assurances that the materials were "in the mail.") to please deliver the file and documents, as already promised. However, this attorney reacted and engaged in ungrateful, offensive, insulting, rude, despicable, unprofessional, and possibly unethicable behavior towards a client. As an attorney myself, I believe his cobduct was inexcusable!
